Resources
Find robotics bearing and linkage series, online dimensions and practical checklists for catalogue parts or drawing-defined assemblies.
Robotics knowledge guides
Practical reading for bearing selection, joint requirements and connecting-rod enquiries. Start with the question that matches your project stage.
Technical guide
Bearings, Rod Ends or Linkages for a Robotic Joint?
Compare bearing inserts, threaded rod ends and complete linkages by their interfaces and purchasing scope.
Read the guide →Technical guide
Clearance and Starting Torque in Robotic Joints
Keep bearing clearance, assembled play and starting torque separate, with clear measurement conditions.
Read the guide →Technical guide
How to Prepare a Robotic Linkage Drawing for an RFQ
Use an assembly drawing and a copyable checklist to define end connections, geometry and review requirements.
Read the guide →Product catalogues and dimension tables
Start with the online product families. Individual model and series pages contain the dimensions and configuration information currently published for that item.
Robotics bearings & linkages
Start with GE, GEG and GEBJ spherical plain bearings, LSANG miniature linkages, and ZT / ZTF bushing series listed in the robotics catalogue. Check the exact model and drawing before selecting a part.
Compare the six robotics series →Linkages & joint assemblies
Compare six LSANG catalogue models and review ball-joint linkages, connecting rods and drawing-defined assemblies.
Open linkage dimensions and options →Spherical plain bearings
Browse the listed series and models, then use the applicable dimensional table and configuration notes.
Browse the online catalogue →Bushings & sliding bearings
Find plain and flanged bushing entries. Keep the length and flange dimensions alongside the diameters.
Browse bushing dimensions →Rod ends & custom interfaces
Review currently listed rod ends. Drawing-defined connections and complete assemblies use the custom enquiry route.
Browse rod end options →Self-lubricating product entries · Custom product options
Supplier reference catalogue
Open the LS / Longxi supplier product manual (PDF, approximately 62 MB; opens in a new tab).
This is an external manufacturer-issued reference, not a SphAxis-issued certificate. Use the relevant model entry and confirm the current drawing or revision for your enquiry.
For a model-specific datasheet, drawing or CAD file, state the complete designation, revision and required format. Availability and scope need confirmation for the item.
Copy an enquiry checklist
Use these fields in an email or as a preparation checklist for the website form. Leave unknown items marked as unknown; a complete set of technical values is not required to start.
Part or project reference: Original manufacturer and full designation (if known): Drawing reference / revision: Product type and installation interfaces: Robot joint / assembly location, if applicable: Clearance / backlash and starting-torque targets with test conditions: Dimensions and units (identify any sample measurements): Movement type, range, speed / frequency and duty: Normal and peak loads, directions and units: Operating temperature and environment: Lubrication / maintenance constraints: Fixed requirements and open questions: Quantity now / estimated annual quantity: Delivery country and preferred timing: Documents needed for review: Contact name, company (optional) and email:
Copy a replacement comparison checklist
Keep the original reference and identify what may change. The comparison guide explains the review items.
Original manufacturer / complete designation / all suffixes: Original drawing or datasheet and revision: Reason for comparison or replacement: Interfaces and dimensions that must stay unchanged: Material, liner, seals and lubrication requirements: Movement, loads, environment and maintenance conditions: Changes that may be considered: Missing information or questions: Quantity, delivery destination and timing: Approval and documentation requirements:
Before you send a drawing
- Identify the file. Include the part or project reference, drawing revision and date. State which revision is current.
- Keep it readable. Provide a clear PDF or image preview with the units, dimensions, notes and revision information visible.
- Explain the question. Add the requested quantity and indicate which interfaces or requirements are fixed and which remain provisional.
- Agree the transfer method. For native CAD or larger files, agree a suitable method before sending them.
- Check sharing restrictions. Discuss confidentiality arrangements before sending restricted or third-party drawings.
The website form does not accept attachments. Send supporting files to [email protected] and repeat the same part or project reference used in your form enquiry.
A short bearing glossary
Designation, prefix and suffix
The complete product identifier, including any characters before or after the basic series and size. Keep every character; meanings are specific to the manufacturer and series.
Sliding pair or liner
The contacting sliding surfaces or lining construction identified for the product, such as steel/steel or a specified PTFE-based construction. Check the model-specific material and maintenance information.
Oscillation and misalignment
Oscillation is repeated back-and-forth movement. Misalignment describes the angular relationship the assembly must accommodate. State both requirements separately where relevant.
Catalogue rating and application load
A catalogue rating belongs to the manufacturer’s stated definitions and conditions. An application load describes the forces in your assembly. They need review together; a rating alone does not establish suitability or service life.
Drawing revision
The version of the drawing that defines the part. Quote the reference and revision together so an older set of dimensions is not used by mistake.
Documents and purchasing questions
Which inspection or quality documents should I request?
State the exact report, traceability, drawing or customer approval requirement in the RFQ. Availability, issuer and scope are confirmed for the item. Read Quality & Documentation.
What if I cannot identify the complete designation?
Send readable markings, photographs and named dimensions with units. Mark uncertain characters rather than completing a suffix from another product. Browse the bearing identification routes.
Are website listings a live stock or delivery commitment?
No. Confirm availability, requested quantity, delivery timing and quotation scope for the specific enquiry.
Does a comparison approve a replacement?
No. A proposed candidate needs review against the original documents and your application requirements. See the comparison checklist.
Are robotics products standard catalogue components?
Some robotics requirements can start with a listed catalogue model; others need a modified part or drawing-defined assembly. Begin with the robotics series guide, then provide the complete designation or drawing, operating requirements and quantities. A catalogue listing does not establish suitability for a particular robot.
Need a particular document?
Include the complete part or drawing reference and the document or format you need.
